Happy National Coffee Day!! I love the smell of a freshly brewed coffee, and being a blogger has made me look at coffee in a new light. I look for coffee shops with wifi, a good quality coffee, and a cozy and chic atmosphere. In honor of National Coffee Day, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite buzz-worthy coffee shops in the Columbus area.
Pistacia Vera’s coffee house not only brings the Parisian vibes, but their delicious pastries are also a little taste of Paris too! They have the most amazing macarons that come in an assortment of flavors, a few of which are baked dairy-free! As for the coffee. My suggestion is to try their latte, and the almond buttery flaky croissant, they are the perfect flavor combination! And while you’re at it, you might as well order the pear ginger macaron too! Heaven!!
Fox In The Snow Cafe
Fox In The Snow Cafe is one of my favorite hipster places in Italian village. It has the perfect serene rustic and airy decor that makes for a great atmosphere for catching up on work or meeting up with friends. Their hand-poured coffees are great with their homemade pastries, you really can’t go wrong with a salted dark chocolate brownie or even a blueberry scone. All of their pastries are baked fresh daily and taste amazing with any of their coffee’s.
MMELO Boutique Confections
MMELO Boutique Confections is a hidden gem with its chic modern décor that will have you inspired, plus they have an amazing activated charcoal honey lavender latte that you can’t find anywhere else! Need I say more? And their coffee selection is not to be missed with a unique selection of espresso beverages, teas that aren’t the usual chai or matcha! A decadent, non-GMO and yet beautifully designed chocolate tea cakes or marshmmelo treats pair perfectly with their coffees and teas. Don’t be surprised to know they cater their sweet treats too!
Flowers + Bread Co.
I discovered Flowers and Bread Co. and it’s easy to say that I agree with their belief in the simple pleasures- flowers, bread and a good cup of… in my case chai tea latte. This charming and chic space features elegant fresh floral decor and did I mention they serve the best lemon lavender scone in town?! They have the cutest vibe when you walk up, with the cutest seasonal floral doorway, this makes for a perfect photo opt whether you are a blogger or not.
Stauf’s Coffee just opened a newer location just North of Victorian Village, this is my favorite location. Not to be mistaken, this is a newly renovated coffee house, which was formerly a church. The architecture and large open space have beautiful stain-glassed windows and make this vintage modern design quite a comfortable spot. I enjoy their hand-crafted iced chia tea lattes and locally baked goods from my preferred vegan bakery (Patty Cake Bakery). This cozy coffeehouse features a lot of seating (and wifi), so you can come and work on your laptop during the day or chat it up with friends over a coffee.
Hope you get a chance to check out some of these neat coffee shops for National Coffee Day! If you have any favorite coffee shops that I should add to my list let me know!
