Apple Picking Season

It’s already the first week of September and I can feel a change in the weather, especially in the mornings and evenings. It may still be in the โ€™70s and โ€™80s during the day, Iโ€™m grabbing a light jacket or sweater to take with me on my way out the door, to stay warm. Autumn officially begins September 23rd, just right around the corner This time of year is perfect for Apple Picking Season, I also love a good apple cider during these chilly months or even an Apple Crumble yum!

This past weekend we went to an Apple Orchard at Lynd’s Fruit Farms in Pataskala, Ohio. They have the cutest market with local and homemade goods, everything from fresh fruits and veggies to salsas, jams and honeys. There was so much to choose from, I snagged a few goodies to take home.

Since it was still warm out I wanted to wear a dress, this whole outfit I am wearing is from Amazon. I really love this basket purse, it made apple picking easier to just drop them in and cute for the occasion. The wedge heels are so comfortable and great for long walks out on the orchard. Genevieve’s cute little outfit is from Target, I can link her outfit as well. Her dress is here, and her shoes are here.

Genevieve and I had so much fun apple picking and seeing the beautiful apple orchard. It’s so tranquil being in nature and experiencing, this wasn’t my first time going. It was a first time for Orelbe and Genevieve and they both seemed to really like it. I can’t wait to go back, my favorite apples were the Honey Crisp and they were amazing.

I love going apple picking every year. I’m from Long Island NY so we can either go out to eastern Long Island where the farms are on make it a weekend and go upstate to the Hudson Valley, Finger lake Region or the Catskills.

I grew up in a big city, but my mum’s family lives in the countryside. They have a couple of fruits tree, berries bushes, spices like rosemary basil and mint and sometimes tomatoes. I always loved picking up my own food there.Getting it directly from nature it’s almost magical!
And your bag is really cute! ๐Ÿ™‚
